En mi ultimo dia estando en Crai, Montana (USA) me lo encuentro entrando al fly shop. Estaba haciendo un viaje de pesca alrededor del mundo y ya llevaba 2 años viajando. Esto fue en 2001.
El mundo de la pesca con mosca es muy chico!
This photo has a huge story: the guy is with me is Didier Cuenod, swiss fisherman that I guided on the Irigoyen River (TDF) on 98/99 season.
My last day in Craig, Montana (USA) I met him in the fly shop. He was travelling arround the world on a world fishing trip for 2 years. This was in 2001.
The fly fishing world is very small!

Fue la mejor forma de terminar un gran mes flotando el Alumine con mi gran amigo Chris Goodman.
Photo with story: this beautifull brown took a Pancora pattern just when it touched the water. Great fight and then gave up for the picture.
It was the best way to end a great month floating Alumine River with my great friend Chris Goodman.

Me encanta esta foto! Este viejo carro esta abandonado en el Gallegos Chico, en la parte conocida como Punta Condor. Siempre que me tocaba pasar por ahi, me imaginaba por un momento estar en la epoca en la que el carro todavia era tirado por caballos y ver algun malon de indios atacarlo.
I love this picture! This old wagon is abbandoned on the Gallegos Chico, in Punta Condor area. Every time I ´ve been through there I imagine being at the time when the wagon was still running, and seeing some local indians attacking it.

Estas fotos fueron tomadas por el equipo de filmacion de Kathryn Maroun cuando estuvieron filmando 2 episodios del programa de pesca "What a Catch" en 2005.
This pictures were taken by Kathryn Maroun´s film crew when they were filming 2 episodes for "What a catch" TV Show in 2005.

Agrego esta foto para poder contar la historia: el cliente llego y lo primero que hizo fue sacar su bolso de pesca y agarrar una de sus tantas cajas de moscas. Y empezo a motrarnos a todos muy orgulloso las que habia comprado y atado para este viaje. A la noche, uno de sus amigos le saco todas las moscas de su "caja especial" y las cambio por ninfas y secas diminutas. Todas prolijamente ordenadas de la misma manera que las anteriores.
Cuando llegamos a un pozo, le pedi que me trajera su caja para elegir la mosca juntos. Cuando la abrio no podia creer lo que le habian hecho!

I add this photo just to tell the story: our guest arrived and first thing he did was to take one of his fly boxes from his tackle bag. He showed us all, very proud of himself all the flies that he bought and tied for this trip. That night, one of his friends toook of all the flies form his "special box" and changed them for tinny nymphs and dries. All of them perfectly organized as the other ones.
When we arrived to a pool, I asked hime to bring his fly box to choose a fly together. When he opened he couldn't believe what they have done!
